A notification handler defines where an alert should be sent. Create the handler first, then select it in the data-collection or payment feature that should use it.
How do I create a handler?
- Open Notification handlers and select Create notification handler.
- Give it a clear name, such as “Contact form email.”
- Choose an available notification type and complete its fields.
- Create the handler. For Email, follow the confirmation link sent to the recipient to validate ownership.
- Use Test integration when you are ready to send a test to that destination.
- Attach the handler in the relevant block’s data-collection settings, save the block, then make an intentional test submission.
What does each channel require?
- Email: a recipient email address, validated through the confirmation message.
- Webhook: a destination URL that can receive the POST notifications described by the form.
- Slack: a Slack webhook URL for the intended channel.
- Discord: a Discord webhook URL for the intended channel.
- Telegram: a Telegram API Token for your bot and the destination Chat ID.
- Microsoft Teams: a compatible channel webhook URL. Use the help link in the form and verify it with Test integration.
Why am I not receiving alerts?
Check that the handler is attached to the correct block and that Email ownership was confirmed. Confirm the webhook or bot destination and try a test. If the submission is visible in Data but the alert fails, focus on the handler configuration rather than recreating the form.
Which channels are supported here?
Use the notification types listed in your URLin.bio form. If you need another destination, review whether the Webhook option can connect to your intended service or ask support about availability. Keep webhook URLs and bot tokens private.
