Connect a tracking pixel to a link or bio page

Create a pixel configuration for a supported provider, then attach it to the intended link or bio page. Saving a pixel alone does not attach it to every resource.

How do I create a pixel?

  1. Open Pixels and select Create pixel.
  2. Enter a name that identifies the provider and purpose.
  3. Choose the correct Type. The current choices include Facebook, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, Quora, TikTok, and Snapchat.
  4. Enter the provider’s identifier in Pixel ID, using the format required for that type. Do not paste a full script unless a field explicitly requests one.
  5. Create the pixel, then open the intended resource’s editor and select it in Pixels. Save the resource.

Select the matching provider and supply its identifier in the Pixel ID field.

How do I check that it works?

Open the public link in an appropriate test session and use the provider’s own diagnostic or realtime tools. Confirm that it is the correct provider account and resource. Browser extensions, privacy settings, and consent choices can prevent a browser-based event from being sent.

What should I watch for?

Avoid installing the same provider twice through both its direct pixel and a tag manager unless that is intentional. Use appropriate consent controls for the tracking you enable. A connected pixel does not prove that a purchase conversion, attribution model, or provider-side event is configured correctly.
