A shortened link sends visitors to another URL. Use a biolink page instead when you want visitors to choose between several pieces of content.
How do I create a short link?
- Open Shortened links or select Create link → Shortened URL from Dashboard.
- Enter the full Destination URL, including
https://where appropriate. - Choose an available Short URL ending if your plan permits it, or leave the field empty for a generated ending.
- Keep Link is active enabled if the link should work immediately.
- Leave advanced controls at their defaults unless you need a particular behavior. Select Create.
- Copy the resulting public URL and open it to verify the destination before sharing.
What should the destination look like?
Use the page you want visitors to reach, not your private editor or account screen. Open the destination directly first. A short link cannot fix a broken, private, or unavailable destination website.
Can I create several links at once?
Bulk generation is a separate allowance. A displayed limit of zero means the operation is not available to that account. See Bulk short links for the workflow and checks.
