Donation and PayPal blocks add payment-related actions to a bio page. Choose the block whose fields match the payment flow you intend to offer.
How do I add a payment action?
- Open the bio page and select Add block.
- Choose Donation or PayPal, then complete the initial form.
- Expand the block and review its recipient or processor fields, amount and currency controls, and the visitor-facing button text.
- Use your own intended recipient details. Connect a payment processor when the selected block requires one.
- Save and open the public page. Check the recipient, amount behavior, currency, and return journey before sharing the page.
What should my button say?
Use wording that explains the action, such as supporting your work or making the particular payment you describe. Do not imply a tax deduction, charitable status, or benefit that you have not established. A payment block is a payment mechanism, not evidence of those claims.
Where will payment records appear?
Review the block’s actual payment flow and your provider account. Payments recorded by the platform can be reviewed in Sales. A direct external PayPal action may need to be checked at PayPal as well. Do not treat a button click as a successful payment.
