An event link presents event information through a stable public address. Check the event’s timezone and the saved calendar result before sending invitations.
How do I create an event link?
- Open Event links and select Event link.
- Choose an available short URL ending or leave it empty, then create the event resource.
- Enter the event name, location, website URL, and any useful note.
- Set the start and end date and time, and choose the event timezone. Review alert fields if you want reminders included.
- Save and open the public link. Try adding the event to a calendar and check the title, location, dates, and timezone.
Can I change the event after sharing it?
Edit the event resource and preserve its public address so future visitors can reach the revised information. A calendar entry someone already saved may not update automatically. Tell attendees about important changes rather than relying on a previously downloaded calendar file to refresh.
How do event QR codes differ?
An Event QR template can encode event details directly. A URL QR code that opens an event link points to a resource you can edit. Choose the approach that matches whether you may need to change the event information later.
