A vCard link shares contact details in a format visitors can save to a contacts app. It is different from a VCard block placed inside a bio page.
How do I create the contact link?
- Open Vcard links and select Vcard link.
- Choose the short URL ending if available, then select Create Vcard URL.
- In the editor, enter the contact’s first and last name, email, website, company, and job title as needed.
- Add the phone numbers and social addresses you want to share. Review optional avatar, address, birthday, and note fields before saving.
- Save the settings and open the public link on a phone. Confirm that the downloaded or imported contact contains the intended details.
How do I update contact details?
Edit the saved vCard resource and keep its short URL unchanged. Future visitors will use the updated resource. Do not assume a contact already imported into someone’s phone updates automatically; that person may need to save or import the new details.
Can I use this on a business card?
Yes. Create a URL QR code that opens the stable vCard link, then test the full scan-and-save journey. A static vCard QR code embeds contact data directly and has different update behavior; see Static versus dynamic QR codes.
