Add images, video, music, and embeds

Add media with the block designed for its source. A provider-specific block usually asks for a content URL, while an upload block asks for a file.

How do I add media?

  1. Open your biolink page and select Add block.
  2. Choose Image, Image grid, Image slider, Audio, Video, File, PDF document, or the relevant provider block.
  3. Complete the initial fields and create the block. Expand it in Blocks to finish the available settings.
  4. For an embed, paste the complete public address requested by the form. For an upload, use a format and file size accepted by that field.
  5. Save and test the public page on a phone. Confirm that the media loads, its controls work, and its size suits the page.

How do I add a social or music embed?

Choose the matching service, such as YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, Instagram media, TikTok Video, or Vimeo. Copy the source’s public content link. Use the direct post, video, track, or profile address appropriate to the selected block, rather than an unrelated account settings URL.

Why does an embed show an error?

The source may be private, deleted, restricted by region, age-limited, or configured to reject embedding. Try the source address in a separate browser window. If it works there but cannot be embedded, use a regular Link block to let visitors open it at the source.

How can I keep media fast and accessible?

Resize large images before uploading, provide meaningful alternative text where the field is available, and keep important information in real page text. Avoid loading many video players near the top of a page. Do not rely on autoplay or audio alone to communicate an important message.
