Change your private account profile from Account. Editing this profile does not automatically change the heading, avatar, or contact details on your public bio pages.
How do I update my account details?
- Open the account menu and select Account.
- Review the Name, Email, and Timezone fields. Upload an account avatar if you want one.
- Change only the details you intend to update. Use an email address you control.
- Select Update and follow any confirmation instructions shown.
- Reopen Account to confirm the saved details. If you changed your email, check both inboxes for any required messages.
What does the timezone setting do?
The timezone controls how dates are displayed in your account. Check it when comparing scheduled links, activity, analytics date ranges, or a colleague’s screenshots. A timezone change does not change the timezone settings on another visitor’s device.
What is the anti-phishing code?
The account screen offers an Anti phishing code that URLin.bio includes in its account emails. Choose a recognizable code that is different from your password. Still check the sender and destination before opening a link or entering sign-in details.
How do I change a public profile?
Open the relevant biolink page instead and edit its Avatar, Heading, Paragraph, or VCard blocks. Follow Customize and style a biolink page for those changes.
