Show or hide a bio page in the directory

The Directory is a public place to discover pages that have been made available for listing. A page’s directory preference is different from whether its public URL works.

How do I change directory visibility?

  1. Open the intended biolink page and select Settings → Advanced.
  2. Find Enable directory displaying.
  3. Enable it if you want that page to be public in the Directory, or turn it off if you do not.
  4. Save with Update and check the public page and Directory as appropriate.

Does hiding it from the directory make the page private?

No. A working public URL can still be opened by someone who has it. Directory listing, search-engine indexing, the page’s enabled switch, and password protection are separate controls. Use SEO settings for indexing preferences and the page’s protection options for the access behavior they provide.

Why is my page not listed?

Check that directory display is enabled for the correct page, save the change, and confirm the page itself is enabled. Account access, listing conditions, and the available directory controls can affect the result. Ask support if the setting is saved but the expected listing does not appear.
